📅 Archon Quest: Back to Mondstadt
Version 5.6 isn’t pushing the Natlan story forward just yet. Instead, we’re getting a major Archon Quest set in Mondstadt. This isn’t filler either—it’s part of the main narrative and will expand on the world’s lore. It could even tie into the Duran/Alice/Barbeloth storyline teased in previous updates.
🎬 Main Event: Shiovalmarin Film Fantasy Land
Genshin Impact continues its tradition of whimsical events with a cinema-themed festival. Expect minigames, time-based challenges, and unique exploration mechanics all wrapped in a film studio setting. Smaller events will run throughout the patch as well, giving players plenty of content to enjoy outside the main story.
🐲 New Boss Incoming
A new boss will be introduced in Version 5.6. No official name yet, but it will drop ascension materials for Escoffier and likely be featured as part of the Archon quest. Be ready to test your reaction and resistance shreds—it’s expected to be a fusion-style boss, possibly involving Cryo or Geo elements.
