Ifa, the new Anemo 4-star from Natlan, has finally arrived in Genshin Impact, and reactions are… mixed. In a recent video by Gacha Gamer, we get a detailed analysis of what this floating healer/DPS hybrid can and can’t do. From underwhelming heals to surprising team utility, here’s everything you need to know about Ifa’s strengths, weaknesses, best teams, and whether he’s worth pulling for.

Ifa’s Kit: Support or Healer?

Ifa’s kit revolves around his Elemental Skill, where he rides his companion Cacucu and shoots Normal Attacks that trigger reactions and heal the team. The twist? He scales entirely with Elemental Mastery (EM), so his healing and reaction damage go hand in hand.

But at constellation 0, his healing is extremely low—only about 4,000 HP total across the whole team. That’s barely enough for Furina’s fanfare stacks, and nowhere near what you’d expect from a dedicated healer. His Normal Attacks do minimal damage, and while he can swirl and trigger Electro-Charged effectively, he offers little outside Taser team comps.

Best Weapons for Ifa

  • Prototype Amber: The best C0 option for Furina comps. It adds healing and restores energy.
  • Hakushin Ring: Great in Taser teams for boosting Hydro and Electro damage.
  • Sacrificial Fragments: A decent choice if energy is an issue.
  • 5-star EM weapons: Viable but overkill unless you plan to main him.
  • Favonius Codex: Useful for energy battery builds, but doesn’t help his healing or damage much.

Ifa’s burst deals decent multipliers but lacks synergy with his EM scaling. His passive boosts Swirl and Electro-Charged damage based on the team’s Nightsoul Points, but this decays over time, so his effectiveness drops quickly in longer fights.

Ifa’s Best Teams

Ifa fits best in Taser comps, especially ones with:

  • Furina (for healing synergy)
  • Yelan/Xingqiu (to enable his attacks to trigger damage bursts)
  • Fischl, Beidou, Ororon (to stack Electro-Charged reactions)

Ororon is particularly valuable since he contributes to the Nightsoul Points Ifa uses to scale his passive. Ifa also pairs surprisingly well with Wanderer as a Cinder City artifact holder, providing buffs and Anemo particles.

Other Teams:

  • Mavuika comps: Viable, but Mavuika does all the heavy lifting.
  • Cinder City Wanderer: A strong support option with Thrilling Tales.
  • On-field damage dealer: Possible, but weak unless heavily invested.

Constellation Power Spikes

  • C1: Grants some extra energy. Mildly useful.
  • C2: Slows decay of his passive buff. Huge for maintaining reaction damage.
  • C3/C4: Boost healing and EM, good for Furina synergy.
  • C6: Major power spike. Increases healing, damage, and flight duration. Essential for using him as a true support in Furina teams.

Unless you really want to use Ifa as a Furina healer, C2 is enough, and C6 is optimal.

Final Verdict: Should You Pull Ifa?

Ifa is a niche character best suited for specific comps. At C0, he is a poor healer but a passable Taser enabler. With investment, especially C6, he becomes a useful support for Furina and a solid Cinder City holder. He’s not a must-pull but can be fun and effective in the right team.

If you pull him off-banner or want a unique Anemo support with some creative potential, he’s worth building. But he’s not a standalone unit—he needs proper teammates to shine.
