Arlecchino Impact has revealed new insights into Genshin Impact’s future banners and characters between Versions 5.8 and 6.7. This includes details about new playable characters, Chronicle Wish updates, rerun speculation, and the debut of highly anticipated figures from the Nord Krai region.

Version 5.8: New Character & Chronicle Wish Details

The next new character in Version 5.8 is Ineffa (also referred to as Inef), an Electro support character who interacts with Bloom reactions, but doesn’t limit teams to Hydro-only. She’s expected to be a polearm user from the Nord Krai region.

Chronicle Wish (Sumeru) is also expected to return in 5.8 and may feature:

Limited 5-stars: Cyno, Alhaitham, Wanderer, Nilou
Standard 5-stars: Dehya, Tighnari

Rerun Speculation for 5.8:

High likelihood: Citlali, Chasca, Nahida
The Archon rerun cycle seems to continue, making Nahida’s rerun very possible in this patch.

Version 6.0: New Electro and Geo Units

Patch 6.0 will usher in the Nord Krai region. Based on reliable Chinese sources:

New Male Electro DPS (Phase 1): An Electro-Charged focused carry. Likely synergizes with Ineffa.
New Female Geo DPS: A crystallize-focused carry. First new Geo unit in a long time.

A teaser featuring Colombina is expected around July 25, with a high-quality 3D animated short film styled after Honkai Impact 3rd.

Version 6.1–6.2: Pyro Escoffier and New Vaporize Carry

In 6.1, expect a mysterious Pyro Escoffier character — likely a 5-star Pyro support similar in design to Escoffier. This suggests the arrival of a new Pyro main DPS.

In 6.2, that Pyro DPS will debut:

Early info says he could be one of the strongest units from Nord Krai

Version 6.3: Colombina’s Release & White Horse

Version 6.3 Phase 1 will likely mark the debut of Colombina, the long-awaited Fatui Harbinger. While her exact element isn’t confirmed, reliable info states she is not Cryo, despite previous assumptions.

In Phase 2, another new character appears:

“White Horse” (name TBA): An Anemo female character specialized in Swirl-Bloom reactions. She is considered a meta character of Nord Krai.

Version 6.7: Nicole, Another Nord Krai Star

In Version 6.7, Nicole is expected to be released. She, alongside Colombina, will represent the marketing and meta centerpieces of Nord Krai.

Nicole is also classified as a “main push character,” a term used internally by HoYoverse to highlight flagship characters for each region.

Characters With Unconfirmed Release Dates

Durin and Varka are being discussed in leaks but currently have no confirmed patch placements.
Jiren (or possibly “Jeht”) is another character in speculation, but no concrete info yet.
