According to Zajef77, the value of this banner is nuanced. While it may look appealing on the surface, it’s not the meta goldmine players might hope for—unless you’re very specific about what you need.

How the Chronicled Wish Banner Works

Before diving into the character breakdown, it’s important to understand how this banner differs from standard limited banners:

You select one five-star character or weapon as your target.
If you lose the 50/50, you’ll get another featured five-star on the banner—not a standard pool character.
Your 50/50 progress does not carry over between banner cycles.
Four-star drops are pulled from a limited regional pool—in this case, Inazuma characters and weapons.

Zajef advises: Don’t wish unless you can hit soft pity twice (around 150 pulls)—otherwise, you’re taking a big risk with no guaranteed return.

Inazuma Four-Star Pool: Usable, but Underwhelming

The Inazuma four-stars available here include:

Kujou Sara – Decent with C6, otherwise mid.
Kuki Shinobu – Strong for Hyperbloom, but power-crept by newer Hypercarry teams.
Heizou, Toma, Sayu, Gorou – Mostly niche.
Kirara – Decent in aggravate teams, but that archetype has seen no recent support.

Verdict? These four-stars are fine, but not worth pulling the banner for unless you truly lack regional support options.

Five-Star Character Breakdown

Ayaka

Without Escoffier, Ayaka feels outdated and underwhelming.
With Escoffier, she sees a significant power spike, especially for Freeze teams.
Strong in very specific conditions, but Skirk is releasing soon and is expected to outperform her in similar comps.

Ayaka is not a good 50/50 loss unless you also plan to pull Escoffier. Her constellations and weapon (Mistsplitter) are solid, but less impactful than building out her team with strong support characters.

Ayato

Mostly overshadowed by characters like Neuvillette and Furina.
Functions as a flexible hydro enabler, but lacks carry potential.
Constellations are underwhelming.

He’s not a disaster to lose to, but also not exciting. If you want him, it’s better to pull on his dedicated rerun banner when it comes.

Yoimiya

Has been power-crept hard.
Strong only in very specific Overload teams.
Bad constellations and poor synergy with modern meta units.

Not a character you want to lose a 50/50 to unless you’re pulling purely for love.

Chiiori

Surprisingly valuable.
Solid off-field Geo DPS and very flexible in team comps.
Great for new accounts with limited five-star options.
Constellations are excellent: C2 and C6 are notable power spikes.

Chiiori is arguably the best 50/50 loss on this banner, especially if you don’t already have her.

Yae Miko

Struggles to justify herself in most team comps.
Often worse than Fischl.
High field time, slow rotations, and underwhelming constellations.

She’s not terrible to lose to once, but her potential is heavily capped unless you’re building around her for personal reasons.

Itto

Has been neglected by the meta and Geo archetype.
Needs Goro, but can’t use Shilonin, a major new support.
Constellations don’t fix his problems.

Itto is arguably one of the least valuable 50/50 losses right now.

Kokomi

Once a cornerstone of Bloom and Freeze teams, but has been power-crept by Shilonin and Escoffier.
Still usable for newer players, but no longer top-tier.
Weapon (Everlasting Moonglow) offers little outside aesthetics.

Like Yae, she’s a niche comfort pick, not a top-tier unit.

Kazuha

Still very strong and flexible, but less essential than he used to be.
Many newer characters, like Sitlali or Shilonin, offer comparable or superior value in specific setups.
C6 is fun but not competitive. Other constellations are mostly irrelevant.

Still the best value unit on the banner if you don’t have him. Just keep expectations tempered—he’s not the must-pull support he once was.

Weapons: Mostly Forgettable

Best Option (Barely): Freedom-Sworn

Solid on Kazuha or Bennett.
Doesn’t synergize with current team rotations that skip Kazuha’s burst.
Better suited for niche support use.

Notable Mentions:

Mistsplitter Reforged – Good on Ayaka and Skirk, but not better than Escoffier’s sig for team damage.
Redhorn Stone Thresher – Strong for Itto or Gumming, but those characters aren’t meta.
